Áttekintés: Gene and Pat are on the trail of Randy Barker, who is an escaped criminal. It turns out Randy was framed by Al Broderic, who is now the sheriff. Gene hide the boy at his twin sister, Peggy’s house. Gene spends the night in jail under the iron rule of Sheriff Broderick. Gene learns that the former sheriff was killed by three gunshots, but Gene knows Randy only uses one shot. Gene takes this evidence to the judge, who request more evidence. Gene hides a microphone at the jail, and Randy worms out a confession from Al, who says he framed Randy so he could get his hands on the Barkers’ ranch. Gene and the judge here this, and Al is jailed.
